POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the advanced development team, you will help identify and deliver near future looking software solutions in a form that the product teams can use to directly implement into product.  Part of this role will be to evaluate internal solutions and 3rd party solutions.  Problem spaces may include Windows desktop, Web software, still imaging software, or video software.  You will help prototype product like solutions with a combination of original development and 3rd party integration and then deliver a containerized, web or C# prototype to the development team with any necessary documentation.  You may be also asked to help the product teams integrate the prototype.  
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist senior developers in migrating existing image science algorithms to our containerized OpenCV platform.
•    Identify potential technical solutions to identified product needs
•    Work collaboratively with software engineers, quality assurance engineers, image scientists, and product owners/managers on technology transfer.
SKILLS AND/OR KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS
•    Experience in digital still and/or video imaging
•    Programming experience in C++, C#, web and/or Python.
•    Experience with Windows, Linux, Azure, Docker and Visual Studio.
•    Desire and ability to learn and absorb new technical material.
•    Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira) and version control software (git, ClearCase)
•    Knowledge of OpenCV, FFMPEG, TensorFlow and AI/ML a plus
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS
•    Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Image Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an associated major
•    Demonstrated C++ experience

Pay $18 - $23 per hour depending on experience.
