Job Summary

The Public Sector Sales Specialist will be responsible for growth of strategic sales into the Federal Space (both DoD and Civilian), State, County and Local Government Agencies as well as the Education Market encompassing K-12 and Higher Education (both public and private). This role identifies, develops, and enhances relationships with both Government Entities as well as the Technical Reseller Community in an effort to create opportunities for Kodak Alaris products and services in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as a lead high-level advisor and strategist who develops and manages strong and effective working relationships with key decision makers, influencers, partners, and business development contacts at agencies.
  • Manages a funnel of strategic opportunities that may span 12-36 months out in the future and any needed accompanying relationship engagements as needed.
  • Provides regular updates to team members on funding progress.
  • Develops and maintains pipeline of aligned opportunities. Monitors and reports on government proposal activity, trends, and funding performance.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan in partnership with Resellers, field sales and build account plans across Digital Government market, resulting in a business growth pipeline and achieving quarterly business objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Go-to-Market and Field Sales to generate prospecting campaigns at scale.
  • Identify New Technology Partners as potential Kodak Alaris Resellers.
  • Train Resellers on Kodak Alaris Products, Programs and Processes for effective partner growth.
  • Attend Government themed trade shows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Successful track record of developing and growing new business.
  • Ethical, ambitious, extremely motivated, proven work ethic
  • Willing to travel approximately 40% of the time
  • Effective presentation development and delivery skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience selling in software sales into Government market.
  • Experience prospecting into greenfield accounts.
  • Ability to speak credibly about document capture workflow, Intelligent Document Processing and perform basic technical qualification of scanners from DC – distributed capture to PC – production capture.
  • Ability to manage the entire sales process from prospecting through close.

   80K - 110K + commissions - based on experience.
