Who you are:
This is a new role that will be instrumental in driving new business and growth for our Integrated Marketing Division. As a Data Science Presales Consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, working very closely with our sales and delivery teams to help craft solutions that deliver value to our clients and to CACI.
You will be working with clients, leading meetings and workshops to understand their requirements, preparing proposals and presenting on how our solutions will help their organisation to achieve their goals. Someone naturally curious about data, marketing, and innovation, you will be aware of the latest analytical trends and make sure these are shared with clients.
A normal week will include meeting new clients, working on multiple pitches and proposals while dazzling clients with your enthusiasm and knowledge of your subject matter.
This role will suit someone with a solid marketing, data or analytics background, with experience in an agency/consultancy or client-side role. You will need to be customer obsessed, results-driven, and have very strong stakeholder management/communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to bring fresh ideas and have an impact from day one.
The key responsibilities:
• You will provide the sales team with expert assistance throughout the various stages of the sales process including qualification, RFI/RFP/proposals, presentation and demonstration.
• You will make a clear contribution to the achievement of our revenue targets and related business objectives,
• Act as a consultant, champion and thought leader on data and data science solutions, leveraging best practice.
• Work with CACI’s technical experts to identify the most appropriate solutions support overall customer engagement and data strategies.
• Ownership of proposal development and RFI/RFP responses.
• Working closely with sales and client services to coordinate responses from multiple teams and partners.
• Putting together business cases to support our proposals.
• You will also be involved in conferences, providing thought leadership and creating new content to meet the demand for information.
• Supporting the development of commercials and cost estimates to create compelling value propositions for clients.
• Completing Value Selling training and advocate its use in the business.
• Making an impact on the win-rate, value and profitability of opportunities.
• Supporting the growth of existing clients to increase the scope and length of our engagements.
• Cross selling additional services to clients.
• Advise clients on innovation, strategy enablement and roadmaps.
• Stay in the forefront of trends and innovation in marketing capabilities.
• Proven experience of winning new business.
• Experience in a related function, either for recognised brand, agency or consultancy.
• Experience of marketing data, insight, market research or data science.
• A strong background in the application of data in commercial environments.
• Good knowledge of data and data science applications.
• Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
• Excellent written skills.
• Experience in running large client engagements.
• Significant experience at scoping, resourcing, and developing commercial proposals.
• Strong experience in delivering pitches.
