What you’ll be doing


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Solutions as one of our .Net Developers, working across greenfield & existing feature application development, spanning several software product streams & development teams. Working in a dynamic fast paced environment, the successful candidate will be expected to own software development activities for an ongoing high-profile contract as well as collaborating with the wider team. This role will involve all aspects of the software development process.


The ideal candidate will be quality driven and self-motivated, with experience in .Net development, including testing (unit test, other manual and automated testing activities).


Who you are


Passionate about technology, professional, motivated, collaborative and continually seeking to learn and develop. Excited about the opportunity to work in a full lifecycle software business.Your primary skill set is backend .Net (C# / .Net) coding & development. You may also have some coding skill in the client side, around JavaScript, using React.js (preferable) and Azure cloud services experience, or the desire to expand on this more.

 

Must Have:


The successful candidate will have experience:



  • Microsoft .Net development (C#) – 3+ Years’ experience

  • Excellent Experience of Unit Testing using NUnit, MSTest or XUnit

  • C# for Web and Server-Side development including Transactions.

  • C# for Integrations with internal or external systems

  • Strong documentation review capabilities

  • Ability to ensure code produced is well documented and of a suitable quality

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards

  • Able to update and fix legacy code

  • Dealing with Complex requirements


Desirable:



  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Power Apps

  • JavaScript / React / Type Script including any of the latest technology.



  • Azure Functions

  • Dataverse exposure

  • SQL Server Reporting.

  • HTML and CSS.

  • Cucumber Language

  • BDD or TDD experience

  • Queuing technologies I.e., Rabbit / MS MQ / IBM MQ

  • Security integration with Active Directory / ForgeRock / MicroFocus
