CACI is recruiting for a Logistics Solutions Consultant within the Location Intelligence team who will design solutions for some of the biggest companies in the world, collaborate with the sales team and consult with clients to design the solution to their strategic requirements.

Location Intelligence Team

We are the leading Location Intelligence team across the world, responsible for delivering advanced spatial analysis and insight to major organisations across a range of sectors and countries. We provide consultancy, cutting edge software and the latest data to help our clients optimise their location strategies across both the physical and digital landscape. Projects typically last between a week and six months, ranging from performance analysis, customer insight, defining network strategies, BI & visualisation and advanced predictive modelling. We work closely with our clients to ensure we understand their aims and objectives, incorporate their feedback and knowledge, and develop a bespoke solution to meet their business needs.

What you’ll be doing

This is an amazing opportunity to join the high-performing Location Intelligence team as a Logistics Solutions Consultant working alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to excite clients by designing world-class solutions. We are the leading Location Intelligence team in the world, responsible for delivering advanced spatial analytics and insight to major organisations across several sectors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Designing solutions and finding new ways of enhancing our proposition and bringing these innovative approaches to the marketplace
  • Providing technical expertise, designing best-in-class solutions, supporting the analytical components of proposals
  • Engineering the solutions to a wide range of bespoke projects using a variety of different techniques and tools.
  • Developing creative and impactful analyses to drive real world strategies and outcomes.
  • Identifying solutions that enable our team and clients to work more efficiently and effectively
  • Communicating insights and technical approaches to clients verbally and in writing including methodologies for proposals and pitches appropriate for a senior executive audience
  • Using your experience and knowledge to contribute to innovations in Location Analytics and in the wider CACI business. 

Skills: 

  • A curiosity and passion for data, analytics, and innovation
  • Understanding how data is used and leveraged across retail/consumer focused businesses for logistics purposes
  • Having an understanding of the areas that inform a business decision/cost benefit model
  • A strong communicator and problem solver
  • You excel in bringing together existing and new techniques, datasets and software to develop analytical frameworks to meet client’s objectives.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders to provide high-quality insights and recommendations from complex information on consultative projectsPrevious work experience in a data processing / data engineering role
  • Experience and knowledge of the logistics market is desirable, but not essential.

Everyone has different training requirements which means everyone has their own training plan. A bespoke training plan will be created for you when you join.
