PURPOSE OF JOB:

As a Junior Developer at Bytes, you will be responsible for working with our Customer Billing API, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our billing system. You will collaborate with the development team and customers to support, test and maintain billing API features. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a key aspect of our business.

 

CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrable skills and experience in programming (e.g., via GitHub)
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: GO, C#, TypeScript,
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with database systems and SQL.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of the billing API platform
  • Provide prompt support and troubleshooting for internal and external platform users
  • Investigate and resolve issues, bugs, and inconsistencies in the billing system to maintain optimal performance
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the billing system by conducting regular data audits and implementing data validation checks
  • Assist in maintaining the security of sensitive customer billing data, adhering to best practices and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement platform improvements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Customer Billing API, including usage guides and developer documentation

 

 

 


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCe:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Previous experience working in a support capacity within the IT field
  • Competence in mathematics.
