PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M365 Specialist to join our growing team.  As a M365 Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers’ data within their Microsoft 365 environments, whilst also preparing them for adopting M365 Copilot.

 

Your primary focus will be on data security within Microsoft Purview, specifically - Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classifications and Data Labelling. However, the role will also cover the rest of the M365 Suite, so knowledge of other areas such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, Exchange & Intune is also essential.

 

The successful candidate will work as part of the Cloud implementation team to help customers improve their data security posture and ensure their organisations are protected from data centric threats. As part of this, you will also ensure customers are prepared for the adoption of M365 Copilot.

 

Experience with building and scaling M365 environments and being able to articulate the impact of configuration settings would be hugely beneficial.

 

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable in presenting and be able to fully understand the security & productivity requirements of customers.  Someone who has previously worked as a security analyst & has a good understanding of M365 would be ideal for this role.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engaging with customers to understand their current M365 environments with a focus on security
  • Implementation of Microsoft Purview solutions
  • Understanding of how to classify and label data based on the requirements of the customer
  • Understand how to implement DLP in customer environments based on their requirements
  • Remediating issues with CIS benchmark scans (primarily M365)
  • Preparing customers environments so that they are secure ahead of Copilot implementation

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering workshops to customers to implement M365 security & productivity solutions.
  • Discussing and implementing DLP rules and policies with customers
  • Discussing and implementing data classification labels with customers
  • Engage with customers to design and implement an Azure AD Access Review solution
  • Understanding and keeping up to date with Copilots features
  • Advising customers on Copilot Security and Privacy Considerations
  • Working with the Cyber Consulting team for scanning customer environments
  • Remediation of recommended changes from the security scans

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE Level with minimum of A-C Grade in Math and English
