Position Title:

Marketing Executive

Reports to (POSITION):

Marketing Manager








Bytes is the UK’s leading Software and Services provider with 650+ staff and annual revenues of £1bn. The role of Marketing Executive is to co-ordinate our customer webinars and seminars, create monthly e-newsletters and deliver digital and social campaigns. This will involve working with our agencies, vendor partners, internal specialists and the sales teams to create and execute business generation activities.



  • Build close working relationships with key partners like Microsoft, AWS, Rubrik, VMware and Pure Storage, to name a few and translate their marketing requirements into Bytes sales generation activities which includes customer events, monthly webinars and e-newsletters together with digital and social campaigns.
  • We’re always looking to stand out above the crowd so you’ll get to use your creativity on our website, technology guides, advertising, google ad words and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube
  • You’ll feel comfortable working closely with all sales teams to ensure that your campaign results are followed up and progressed.


  • Seminar and webinar co-ordination/execution and follow up
  • Online articles and e-newsletter writing and execution
  • Develop ideas and create content with video and animation
  • Liaise with sales teams, agencies, vendors & customers
  • Work with sales account managers to drive above activities and establish/monitor results
  • Lead tracking and event follow-up with high levels of ROI
  • There is plenty of scope to make your mark with fresh ideas using traditional methods and new social and digital platforms. As part of a team, you will be fully supported to shape the marketing plan knowing that your contribution will be vital to the success of the department’s goals.




Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree In Marketing of Similar Subject
  • A Level – English 



Years of Experience

  • 0-1 Year Marketing Experience




  • Good communication skills and strong copywriting ability
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Creative flair, fun personality and likes to try new things
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe desirable
  • Experience of using marketing software (e.g. Hubspot)
  • High level of motivation and attention to detail
  • Prior marketing experience preferred and/or marketing degree
